Family-Owned Ethical Garment Manufacturing. Two Generations Strong.

Tobimax Textiles was founded in 1988 by Tony Lee, who built the business alongside his brother Eddie from a single facility in Taiwan. Today, Tony's daughter Tanya runs the business as the second generation. Most of what makes Tobimax work is still what they built: the relationships with mill partners, the discipline around quality, the unwillingness to take on work we cannot stand behind.

Tanya grew up in this business. She walked the factory floor before she could properly read a fabric spec or a garment tech pack. That is the part of "family-owned" people do not always see. It is not just ownership. It is accumulated knowledge that lives in the people who have spent decades doing the work.

Tanya also operates her own DTC apparel brand, so she knows what it feels like to hand off your product to a factory and hope they get it right. That is the experience she wants every Tobimax client to have the opposite of.

What Tobimax Is For

Tobimax exists for the apparel founder who has a product idea, maybe a first sample, and no real idea how to get from there to a finished production run that ships on time and holds up after fifty washes. We have been doing this since 1988, and what we offer is the accumulated knowledge of a family business that has stayed in the same trade for two generations. Which fabrics fail. Which factories follow through. What a realistic timeline actually looks like.

Family-owned, female-led, and built for founders who need a partner, not just a vendor.
